The design of the structure accommodates active creep along the Hollister Fault and significant scour in the San Benito River.

Bengal Engineering performed the independent design check for Moonstone Bridge in Cambria, California for TY Lin.
Note that the old bridge is being dismantled to make room for the new structure, while sea kayakers continue to enjoy this beautiful location.
