BARON RANCH TRAIL BRIDGE
BRIDGE DESIGN

Gaviota, CA
Built 2020

BRIDGE ENGINEERING | STRUCTURE DESIGN

Located 3 miles north of Refugio State Beach, on the beautiful Gaviota coast sits a 65-foot long by 8-foot wide metal-truss bridge across the entrance of Arroyo Quemada Canyon. The county and many community stakeholders have been hard at work  to ensure that this 1000 acre canyon be a staple of land stewardship, native species rehabilitation and public access for many types of recreation for years to come. Great care was taken in design and construction to ensure the preservation of the fragile habitat's flora and fauna. The newly constructed bridge serves as the keystone element and entrance into this gorgeous canyon's newly constructed trail system.
