Private development planned for a storm drain in this Mission Canyon neighborhood. When the full development did not move forward these storm drain plans were abandoned. Santa Barbara County received many requests to complete the storm drain from the neighborhood and hired Bengal Engineering. We understood the challenges of this 80-foot vertical drop and designed a robust storm drain to capture the local flows to reduce downstream overflows.
